Do we both need the app?
Yes. Each person needs HiSign on their own phone. Add each other in person before you need to check a call.
What does the optional purchase change?
The supporter purchase is optional and one-time. It does not increase the 50-contact limit or change the phrase-check security model. The store shows the current local price.
How do I use it while I’m on a call?
Keep the call open and switch to HiSign. A headset or speakerphone can help you read the screen while talking. Open your contact, read “You say,” and compare what you hear with “They say.” Practice together before you need it.
What if we cannot check, or the words do not match?
Pause the request. Call back using a number you already know, or contact someone else you trust. A mismatch or an unavailable phone is a reason to follow your agreed plan; it is not by itself proof of a scam.
